The Intelligence Commons is operated by Inter Species Wisdom Project Inc. (ISWP), a British Columbia Benefit Company. We collect as little personal information as possible, and we do not sell it.
Information we collect
Information you give us: when you email the convener, submit a form, or ask to take part in a Hearing, we keep what you send so we can respond and maintain the public record where you have chosen to participate. If you subscribe to our updates, that subscription is managed by Substack.
Information collected automatically: like most websites, our host keeps standard server logs, and we use cookies and web analytics (including Google Analytics and Jetpack) to understand how the site is used. This data is aggregate and is not used to identify you personally.
How we use information
To respond to you, operate and improve the site, and send updates you have requested. We do not sell or rent your personal information to anyone.
Third parties
Some services process data on our behalf under their own privacy policies: Substack (newsletter and comments), our hosting provider, and analytics providers. Hearing filings and Public Square contributions are, by design, public record.
Your choices and rights
You can unsubscribe from updates at any time. You may ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information you have given us by writing to hearings@intelligencecommons.ca. This policy is governed by the laws of British Columbia and Canada, including the Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA) and PIPEDA.
